As the first step in this cooperative venture, Euronet, the industry leader in the processing of secure electronic financial transactions, is equipping its network of ATMs in the Ukraine with ASDIS software. ASDIS Release 5.3 with new core components and features
Berlin, June 30, 2009: ASDIS presents two new core components in Release 5.3: The intelligent monitoring module ASDIS Information System (AIS), which was introduced successfully in the spring, is now available to users as standard. The ASDIS Advanced Inventory (AAI), a freely extensible asset and inventory database that allows large numbers of systems to be grouped together automatically, is entirely new.The new release also provides users with additional core functions such as remote control for the destination system and live logging. Operators of ATMs, kiosk systems and other automatic machines can now enjoy full XFS standard support, support for the user-specific implementation of XFS on Sigma ATM models and sample configurations for real-life monitoring of ATMs. Release 5.3 offers server users a WMI monitoring interface and additional automation on Solaris. The usability and responsiveness of the GUI has also been much improved.

Intelligent monitoring: smart system monitoring with the new ASDIS Information System module

The module filters out relevant information about IT systems and takes action on the basis of configurable rules. System administrators thus get the information they need for their decision-making, enabling them to respond rapidly when incidents occur.
